Recently, Shiqiao Subdistrict of Jining Taibai Lake Provincial Tourist Resort has welcomed a major project with a total investment of 400 million yuan: the R&D and production of intelligent CNC steel bar processing equipment. This move not only demonstrates Jining’s consistent commitment to the manufacturing industry but also promotes the optimal allocation of urban land resources, injecting new momentum into the prosperity of the regional economy. The project will be developed by Shandong Zhongji Luyuan Machinery Co., Ltd., located in a prime area: south of Hengyi Road, west of Jieshi Road, and north of Jining Avenue. Covering an area of approximately 2.87 hectares (28,712 square meters), the site was formerly residential land and has now been converted into industrial land, supporting the ambitious vision of Jining’s manufacturing development.

Jining’s launch of the 400-million-yuan project for the R&D and production of intelligent CNC steel bar processing equipment marks the city’s deepened focus on manufacturing and improved land resource allocation. 2. Project Planning and Investment
According to the plan, the project will construct modern facilities including an assembly workshop, multi-functional production workshop, R&D center, office building and comprehensive exhibition hall, with a total construction area of 19,166.43 square meters. The enterprise will introduce more than 200 sets of advanced production equipment, such as laser cutting machines, machining centers, CNC lathes, pass-through shot blasting machines, 3D scanners and presses for R&D. Five new digital assembly lines will be built to form a highly intelligent and modern production base.
Upon full operation, the project will achieve strong production capacity: an estimated annual output of 300 sets of CNC steel bar bending and hoop forming machines, 260 sets of CNC reinforcement cage rolling-welding machines, and 500 sets of CNC steel bar bending centers, along with other construction machinery equipment.

Once fully operational, the project will help meet domestic demand for steel bar processing equipment and expand into the international market. It will strongly support infrastructure construction across China and help promote “Jining Manufacturing” to a global audience, further raising the city’s international reputation.
From a land-use perspective, the conversion from residential to industrial land has improved efficiency and freed up valuable space for industrial development.
