Zhongji Luyuan Partners with China Railway Seventh Group to Build Smart Rebar Processing Facility for Tong-Yong High-Speed Railway
Nantong–Suzhou–Jiaxing–Ningbo High-speed Railway (commonly known as the Tong-Yong High-Speed Railway) is a major infrastructure project in China. It connects Nantong and Suzhou in Jiangsu Province with Jiaxing and Ningbo in Zhejiang Province. As a key part of China’s “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” high-speed rail network, this coastal corridor serves as a vital transportation link within the Yangtze River Delta city cluster.
The railway starts at Nantong West Station, crosses the Yangtze River via the Hutong Yangtze River Bridge, then passes through Suzhou and Jiaxing, before crossing the Hangzhou Bay via the 29.158 km-long Hangzhou Bay Cross-Sea Railway Bridge, and finally enters Ningbo. The total operating length of the main line is approximately 310.027 kilometers, with 300.954 kilometers of newly built tracks. Designed for speeds of 350 km/h, the railway features 11 stations and connects with the Shanghai–Kunming High-speed Railway through the Suzhou–Hangzhou and Shanghai–Ningbo link lines, enabling direct access from Ningbo to Shanghai via Jiaxing, and from Suzhou to Hangzhou.
Zhongji Luyuan has partnered with China Railway Seventh Group to build an intelligent rebar processing center that significantly reduces manual labor through the integration of smart equipment and automated transfer systems. This state-of-the-art facility plays a key role in supporting the Tong-Yong High-Speed Railway’s construction demands.
Key highlights of the facility include:
1.A four-line sawing and threading production line, operable by a single worker, ensuring high efficiency with minimal labor input.
2.China’s first fully automatic rebar cage welding workstation, equipped with features such as:
(1)Automatic loading and alignment of longitudinal bars
(2)Automatic misalignment correction and bar distribution
(3)Automated welding for longitudinal and spiral bars
(4)Automated demolding and cage removal
This complete production line requires only 1–2 operators, dramatically reducing labor intensity, boosting efficiency, and improving safety compared to traditional rebar processing methods.
The system utilizes servo-controlled computers to precisely control the positioning of the main bars and ensure accurate cage alignment. It also features memory functions to store and retrieve layout data as needed, improving repeatability and flexibility in production.
All equipment is equipped with information interface ports, making it fully compatible with digital management systems and ready for smart factory integration.
