Taking the processing of ribbed steel bars with a diameter of 25mm as an example, the traditional method requires 3 workers to operate in division of labor: one worker uses a grinding wheel saw for cutting, with an error often reaching 3-5mm; one worker operates the threading machine, and the qualification rate of thread joints is only about 85% due to uneven force control; one worker uses sandpaper to polish burrs, which not only causes dust to fill the air and pollute the environment, but also easily leads to loose connection of subsequent rebars due to incomplete polishing. In addition, manual transfer of rebars is required between processes, with the per capita daily processing volume being less than 1.5 tons. Moreover, labor costs have been rising year by year due to labor shortages, making it difficult to meet the "high-efficiency, high-precision and green" construction requirements of modern infrastructure.

The CNC Rebar Cutting, Threading and Polishing Production Line developed by Shandong Zhongji Luyuan Machinery has achieved a breakthrough in the entire rebar processing process through "integrated design + CNC intelligent control". The production line adopts a modular layout, forming a closed-loop operation from rebar feeding to finished product output, and its core advantages are concentrated in three aspects:

First, efficiency is doubled and labor costs are significantly reduced. The production line is equipped with a high-precision servo feeding system and a double-cutting mechanism, which can automatically complete the fixed-length measurement and precise cutting of rebars, and the cutting speed is 3 times higher than that of traditional grinding wheel saws; the subsequent threading process adopts adaptive torque control technology to automatically match the threading parameters of rebars of different specifications without manual adjustment; in the polishing link, multiple sets of wire wheels and dust removal devices are linked to realize automatic burr removal and dust collection. According to actual tests, when the production line processes ribbed steel bars with a diameter of 20-32mm, it can handle 30-35 tons per day (based on an 8-hour working system) and only requires 2 operators (1 main operator to monitor the system and 1 auxiliary worker for feeding). Compared with traditional processing methods, the efficiency is increased by 4 times and labor costs are reduced by more than 60%.

Second, precision is strictly controlled, and the processing qualification rate exceeds 99.8%. The production line is equipped with an industrial-grade PLC CNC system, which supports presetting parameters such as rebar length and threading specifications through a touch screen. The cutting precision is controlled within ±1mm, far exceeding the ±3mm error standard of traditional manual work; the threading link adopts a rolling threading process, and the fullness of the thread profile and the consistency of the taper all comply with the GB/T 1499.2-2018 standard. According to third-party testing, the qualification rate of thread joints is stably above 99.8%; the ends of the polished rebars are smooth without burrs, which effectively avoids installation deviations during subsequent rebar connection and reduces potential structural safety hazards. The person in charge of the Materials Department of the Jinan Metro Line 6 project said: "After using this production line of Zhongji Luyuan, the rework rate of rebar processing has dropped from 12% to 0.2%, the on-site rebar connection efficiency has increased by 25%, and the construction period pressure has been significantly relieved."

Third, it is green and safe, meeting the requirements of modern construction. Infrared safety light curtains and emergency stop buttons are installed at key parts of the equipment. When operators approach moving parts, the system automatically shuts down; at the same time, the production line adopts low-noise motors and shock absorption design, and the operating noise is controlled below 75 decibels, which improves the "high-noise and high-dust" working environment of traditional processing workshops and meets the green construction requirements of infrastructure projects.
